SHAMANIC  ART     

Shamanic Art is made in Conscious Connection using the format of the Medicine Wheel.  The purpose of making work in this way is to create transformational power objects, able to Uplift, Uphold and Inspire people by being active clearing tools for the body. 


     I am working with my individulised whakapapa (genealogy).  I utilise the symbols that arise within me when I am in Shamanic (Love based healing) connection.
    This has resulted in a surprisingly profound and deep alignment with the  Sacred aboriginal Koori Tingari (creation) paintings, which calls forth my Australian heritage.
    Combined with my New Zealand upbringing and healing work with the land and Taniwha here, these painting are the result.    I call these works 'Shamanic Art' as they arise from Love based energies wider than myself.
