From a series called 'Young Girl Big City'

I love the way the girl stands proud of the city. You can't see them in this photo but a few empty gold bullet casings are stuck into the city walls.

I love the way her hair breaks the canvas. It is about 50mm in width, supported by a polystyrere block.

Man in gumboots 2006 Mixed media on canvas 1200 x 920mm
Bear came in from working in the paddocks broiled to a lobster and stripped off in the studio. 'Hold That!' I yelled and grabbed a tin of paint and poured him on this canvas. He stood just like this, naked but for his gumboots with his hand on the old rocker. The canvas behind was part of my 'God work' series - (appropriate really for a cosmic sort of guy)
